3 lit, powder coated steel, metal sculptures with glass inserts, with terrazzo sidewalk
18' x 4' x 18' each sculpture
Artworks will be installed on San Antonio Rd. in Mountain View. The location is the site where the first silicon chip was developed by the 1947 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr. William Shockley. The sculpture ilulsrates two transistors and a diode, reflective of 1950's era. This public art commission team is Vickie Jo Sowell and Mary White.
